In the same tradition as Injini Child Development Game Suite and My First AAC, Project Injini was inspired to create Write My Name to help children with special needs practice emerging writing skills in a fun and playful way. In addition to learning how to write letters and common sight words, children now have the opportunity to make this activity especially personal by learning how to write their own name. What could be more meaningful and motivating than writing your name?
Parents and teachers can create up to 36 custom nametags. In addition to your child’s own name, you can include family member’s names, too. Maybe add the name of a favorite stuffed animal or pet. You can even include phrases, such as “I Love You.” Collaborate with your child and ask them what they want to learn to write and see where their imagination takes them.
Creating a nametag is an easy four-step process.
